Kids Euro Festival — the largest children’s performing arts festival in the United States — returns to the Washington area from October 16 to November 13. Boasting more than 200 family-friendly events — all of which are free — Kids Euro Festival will transform the metro region into a European cultural playground.
Designed for children aged two through twelve and their families, Kids Euro Festival, now in its sixth year, unites the 28 embassies of the European Union (EU) and more than 30 American cultural institutions. Croatia, new to the EU this year, will participate in the Festival for the first time.
The goal of the Festival is simple: to create a European artistic adventure for young people and their families — with no passport required. Kids Euro Festival artists include many of Europe’s most talented performers for children, featured in diverse and imaginative live shows of puppetry, dance, music, theater, magic, storytelling, and more. Weekend programs offer performances, films, and reading workshops that showcase favorite stories from several EU nations.
